The soft howl of the blowing wind was putting the male to sleep, though when a branch cracked his head snapped to the left to examine the area. Whoever it was they were in his territory and a warning snarl came from the hybrid. He waited, his claws releasing themselves slowly as he was getting ready to attack but when a female had jogged passed he slumped back against the rock he was resting against. He couldn’t eat her, even if his stomach disagreed with it.
